Bottle (no label and only the cap and memory of the fellow that gave this to me to lead me to it being this beer) Deep, thick and tongue coating. Nice finish - a slight sweetness floating across, but leaning to the bitter, roasty side of the show. The more I drink it, the more I like it - good sign, no?

Sample at the brewpub. Dark ruby, little dark head. Roasty coffee-chocolate nose, solid sweetish front, significant roastiness late and finishing, good body. Very nice, without being really distinctive.
