Deep, thick and tongue coating. Nice finish - a slight sweetness floating across, but leaning to the bitter, roasty side of the show. The more I drink it, the more I like it - good sign, no?

May 14, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Dark ruby, little dark head. Roasty coffee-chocolate nose, solid sweetish front, significant roastiness late and finishing, good body. Very nice, without being really distinctive.
