obxdude10 (1382), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2007 Great bock beer, light copper in color, excellent lacing around the glass, sweet malty nose with notes of brown sugar & caramel, more malty notes in the flavors with hints of caramel, fruit & yeast, very well balanced, more like a maibock
scraff (1602), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Apr 26, 2007 Tap @ LBC - Gold, creamy white head. Nose held soft floral notes and hints of pepper and caramel bread. Soft flavors of all the above and well balanced from start to finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light sweet finish. This was nicely done... DocLock (3958), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 18, 2007 Draft at DRE. Coppery colored with subdued head. Aroma of caramel malt, hopcitrus, slight syrupy fruit. Medium to light palate with flavors of caramel malt, some fruit, and brown sugary and nutty notes, with a crisp finish. axilla (939), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 19, 2004 Nice malty nose, maybe some randon spices. Good looking darker orange color with a fluffy looking whie head. Pretty good malt taste with a little bitterness in the finish. Subtle yeast flavor present also. Not a bad bock but would make a better dortmunder. Parrothead (157), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 17, 2007 On tap at the brew-house. Orange-copper color, not much head. A touch of sweet malt in the nose. Smooth, drinkable lager. Not certain what the ABV is, but this one might sneak up in you.
