strong strawberry aroma, but it's not found in the flavor... it's at best an average wheat...

As bad as the SA Cherry Wheat if not worse. The finish reminded me of a chalky Strawberry Cream saver candy. Downright bad

Straberry wheat is an ill-conceived plan executed only fairly well with this beer. I found strawberry too mild to balance the wheat character. And a bit too candyish. And a bit too sweet.

I'm not big on strawberry beers, especially not wheat ones . The cherry wheat that Sam Adams/boston brewing/jim koch etc make is vastly better for this type of fruit wheat beer . I give them credit for trying though . I only had 6 via the Lancaster sampler pack . I'm bored with this beer. Drank 3 and offered rest to my wife who wasn't impressed either.(for whatever THAT'S worth, lol )

I'm still a sucker for the fruit beer. Effervescent aroma. Flavor like a chewy strawberry granola bar--i.e. slightly fake, but satisfying. Solid head, decent palate, light yellow color. Works for me. (on tap, Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest 2003)

I knew I should have bought the milk stout, but I had to try something new. An accetable wheat that has been thrown off slightly by this attempt with the strawberries. Yeah, the aroma is nicelt fruity, but the flavor is a little too tart. It was as if they couldn't decide whether to go the Belgium way with tartness or the American way with over-the-top syrupy fruitiness. They ened up somewhere in the middle and that is not where you want to be.

Light golden color with a foamy white head that quickly dissapears. The nose is slightly tart and wheaty. There is a fresh strawberry front in the nose, but it does seem somewhat fabricated. Hints of light roasted hops, toffee and jam finish off the aroma. The body has light toasty notes with a sweet strawberry following. Toffeeish undertones make way for an otherwise sweet and dry finish. The sweet kind of linger but isn't overbearing, maybe a touch of roasted hops at the tail end. I've made this beer sound more complex and tastey than it actually is. Somewhat boring and not a genuine strawberry taste.

Crystal clear, very deep golden brew. Small, fizzy, white head. Somewhat lasting with good lacing. Lightly malty nose with a bushel of strawberries and some butterscotch as well. Very, very lightly floral with a hint of buttermilk in the aroma. The flavor is a bit thin, but well-balanced with a small burst of strawberries and butterscotch up front. Astringent on the backside with a nice, lightly bitter and lightly tart hop presence. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish. Nice Summer beer, but I wouldn't go out of my way to grab one.

A good fruit beer. Not exactly the best wheat beer ever, but the strawberry side of the brew was very accurate. Unlike many fruit beers I felt that this one actually tasted like strawberry. I would put it a notch or two under Pyramid.
