Just in time for the summer, this American wheat lager style beer with subtle suggestion of real, fresh strawberries,is the perfect pint of true refreshment. Light and crisp, our Strawberry Wheat is a "must try" for fruit and beer lovers alike.

I knew I should have bought the milk stout, but I had to try something new. An accetable wheat that has been thrown off slightly by this attempt with the strawberries. Yeah, the aroma is nicelt fruity, but the flavor is a little too tart. It was as if they couldn't decide whether to go the Belgium way with tartness or the American way with over-the-top syrupy fruitiness. They ened up somewhere in the middle and that is not where you want to be.

Light golden color with a foamy white head that quickly dissapears. The nose is slightly tart and wheaty. There is a fresh strawberry front in the nose, but it does seem somewhat fabricated. Hints of light roasted hops, toffee and jam finish off the aroma. The body has light toasty notes with a sweet strawberry following. Toffeeish undertones make way for an otherwise sweet and dry finish. The sweet kind of linger but isn't overbearing, maybe a touch of roasted hops at the tail end. I've made this beer sound more complex and tastey than it actually is. Somewhat boring and not a genuine strawberry taste.

Crystal clear, very deep golden brew. Small, fizzy, white head. Somewhat lasting with good lacing. Lightly malty nose with a bushel of strawberries and some butterscotch as well. Very, very lightly floral with a hint of buttermilk in the aroma. The flavor is a bit thin, but well-balanced with a small burst of strawberries and butterscotch up front. Astringent on the backside with a nice, lightly bitter and lightly tart hop presence. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish. Nice Summer beer, but I wouldn't go out of my way to grab one.

A good fruit beer. Not exactly the best wheat beer ever, but the strawberry side of the brew was very accurate. Unlike many fruit beers I felt that this one actually tasted like strawberry. I would put it a notch or two under Pyramid.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2007 Looked great, great color, no real head. Had a nose of strawberry soda that accurately foreshadowed the beer that was to come. Too thin on the palate. Taste was of artificial sweet strawberry flavor, with a little wheat and no real hoppy characteristic. Chemical overtones to sweet finish. not as bad as the phrase drain pour implies, but drain pour none the less. I see now need to finish this; who needs the calories or the alcohol. Give me a framboise lambic.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2003 Strong strawberry/banana nose. Bitterness on initial taste which quickly dissipates. Strawberry sweetness increases throughout swallow rising to a very sweet strawberry finish. Little head retention.

Draft at the Manayunk beerfest in Phila. Good fruit beer. Someone making a beer with a different fruit. On the sweet side. Nothing wrong with it just not my mug of beer.

Not bad for a fruit beer but I guess im not a lover of these types. Had a smooth strawberry flavor and aroma but just had a certain bite to it that was wierd. Not for my tastes.

Beer doesn’t knock you over the head with a strawberry fruit taste. It’s very faint. Not a bad flavored wheat beer.

Sour fruit and wild strawberry nose, bit of hops. A clear, amberish gold with small lacing head. Medium fizziness with light body. Had nice level of hops and bit of sweet maltiness. Initial taste of strawberry was tart with smooth, sweet finish. The aftertaste was an uncomfortable saccharin strawberry that reminded me of Captain Crunch Berries or Boo-berry cereal. An odd bitter as well.
