I feel the strawberry after taste is much stronger than the flavor of the beer. It’s much better in a growler than bottled. You have to like the fruit flavored beer, before you even try it.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours hazy light Orange. Aroma is barely fruity, with something other than strawberry. Taste is a bit flat, sour, stale. Not too pasty though. Crisp and plesant with food, but nothing complementary.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a dark red with nearly no head or lacing. The aroma has a hint of strawberry in it which is much like the taste. The beer is refreshing up front with a subtle hint of strawberry but finishes bland. This is becoming the trend with Lancaster to me - something missing in the finish each time. I wouldn’t buy this again!

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
translucent copper with a thin but dense and creamy beige head. light body with high carbonation.
aroma: corn, strawberry cereal, and musty notes.
taste: adjunct lager with a strong dms note (tastes like water used to boil sweet corn), sweet pilsner malt, clean subtle hop bitterness, and a faint strawberry note if you’re looking for it.
i don’t see or smell or taste any evidence of wheat in this beer. thankfully, the strawberry flavoring is rather subtle, not overdone like most other strawberry flavored beers i’ve tried.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2012 Came in a barn shaped case. Pours a slightly reddish golden color, thin white off-color head. Aroma of candy strawberry and grain. Taste is mostly the same. Not my thing, I’ve heard mixing this with their milk stout is pretty good. Never tried it.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Took a sip from my fiances beer from bottle. The hint of strawberry syrup comes through only slightly in the aroma and taste, and not much else going on except slight grain malt. Light, taste like a normal lager mostly.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a golden amber with a slight tinge of red. Slightly fruity nose. Taste is crisp with a good balance and overtones of strawberry that are not overbearing.

Bottle. MBA list. Ruby pour with tan head. Fruit and wheat and light spice tones. Eh I prefer other fruited wheat beers.

Aroma is that of freeze-dried strawberries. Deep golden in color. A bit of an artificial, though likable flavor...the strawberry lingers long after.
