Commercial Description:
Our classic Olde Ale redefines the term "bull-bodied" with its deliverance of complex and firm malt flavor. A fine blend of British and American hops provides an even bitterness as this beer finishes with a warming alcohol flavor.

Bottle. It is just too sweet. some subtle flavors of Rhubarb and dark chocolate, but not one I would recommend. The malt is overwhelmed.

I had high expectations. Do not like, not for me. Very thick and tastes of bourbon. Hope others enjoy it more then I did.

Thanks to JoeMcphee for this one! Cloudy brown pour with a think tan head. Caramel and bourbon on the nose. Very similar flavor with notable hints of oak and fruit

Poured a cloudy dark brown color with an off white head. Aroma is of a lot of spices, probably cinnamon, some nuts, cloves, just very nice. Flavor was also very spicy, seems more like spice/herb/vegetable than old ale but very good at that.

7-5-08 bottle <br /> Semi thick red brown with no lasting head at all. Smell is very light sweetness - almost fruity with a touch of caramel. Flavor is light sweetness as well. Not bad and surely drinkable. Smell starts to have some cardboard in there as you continue to drink. Medium to high carbonation. Overall, not great, but drinkable.
