Notes from Paris, 2006. Pours a cloudy, darkish yellow color, with a pretty tall, thick head. Opaque. Malty wheat aroma, with lots of fruit and spice (orange, coriander, a touch of banana). Very spicy flavor, with good wheat maltiness. Rather sweet. Decent hop bitterness as well, especially in the finish. Possibly a bit too much spice for my taste, but overall pretty nicely balanced. A bit more hops in the finish than normal for the style, and I like it. Well balanced. Good, round feel on the mouth, full, but not too heavy.

Hazy light blond color. It smells like dirty water, a still pond. Dry and weak mouthfeel, with a light citrusy touch, some saccharin. At the end it’s very dry, with a touch of spices. Bad.

Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow. A small white head quickly becomes a thin film. Aroma is sweet, spicy (primarily coriander). Mouthfeel is quite watery. Flavour is mildly sweet and malty with a little spicy aftertaste.

Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BB Jun 07). Perfumey floral nose. Slightly medicinal and spicy. Light spritzy feel and a little tartness. Witbiers arent my favourite but when they’re like this I quite enjoy them.

It’s a light, hazy straw colored wheat with a huge and nice head. The aroma is not very distinct, but is has notes of wheat. The flavour is lightly sweet with notes of wheat and fruit, and there is a light hint of citrus in the finish.

Bottled. Pours yellowish, unclear with a decent white head. The aroma is citrusy and fresh, with some citrus-peelish bitterness and spices. Citrus-bitter flavor with some spices and lemon. Medium to thin body. Quite nice, but it needs a hot summer day to be enjoyed. (070119)

330 ml bottle. Pale cloudy body with dense white head. Aroma has a sour citrus impression. Flavor is very fresh, spicy, wheat, coriander and citrus. A slightly bitter aftertaste, but very short.
