Trouvee a auchan - noyelles godault

Bottle. Hazy red dark brown with an off white foam. Aromas are red berries with yeast and clean wheat malts. Some hints of metal and soap. Flavours are mellow berries with spritzy yeast and some light sourness. Dry on the finish with a peppery palate. Clean.

330 ml bottle at V&B in Quimper. Fruity beer (berry) but not really sweet. Nice and fruity, refreshing aftertaste. Good palate cleanser due to the slight sharpness. Different. I recommend

There’s a desert dry finish to this beer, dark brown sediment powders the silky head. Color is reddish brown , aroma is slightly sour . Taste is very faint with a touch of bitterness and a lot of dryness. Very different for a fruit based beer, especially a the ABV is lot higher than the norm for the style.

Red to amber colored beer. Hardly any head. Fruity aroma with some tartness in the background. Fruity and malty taste. Rather empty but drinkable. Hardly any aftertaste

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2013 330ml bottle. Sweet berry aromas. Pours amber colour, with reddish vanishing head. Very poor lacework. Taste is sweet, no hint of hops. Long sweet finish. Give it a chance! Update August 2013: On tap @Ty Anna Tavern, Rennes. Caramel, spicy aromas. Pours dark amber, vanishing off white head. Light body, some crispy texture, average carbonation. Taste is caramel, some spicy. A bit watery. Nothing remarkable.

5.5% red colour with no head, fruity aroma, fruity caramel malt taste but I would not rate this as a Fruit Beer, quite nice.
