This is the new version of the old Duchesse Anne 6°.

Bottle 33cln a cloudy copper beer with good head. Nose is on orange and candied fruits. Aroma is on sweet malt, ripped orange and quince notes, belgian yeast, very classic, properly done.

Pours a thin white head with moderate cereals aromas. Hazy and gold colored. Warm in mouth. Pleasant but not exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Blonde Triple Made in France.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with big frothy head. Smells slightly citrus zest, doughy yeast, straw and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, an enjoyable beer but not quite of the same quality and depth of a Belgian version of the style

33cl Bottle brought from Paris, thanks Manon! Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, light metallic sugar, pear, ripe white fruits, yeast, light floral. Flavour is medium-sweet, light sugary, giving it a tiny metallic touch, fruity, yeast, esters, lemon, light floral, bittersweet finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not nearly as sweet or yeasty as expected. Decent, but a little boring.

Part of a pack from a French supermarket. Hazy golden with a frothy white head. This is pretty decent - plenty of zesty citrus zing, bitter and moderately spicy. Quite a creamy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. An orange opaque beer with yellow hints at the bottom of the glass. Medium white head; light retention. Aroma of biscuit, fruits (citrus, plum?), herbs, gingerbread, and a bit acid. Medium sugary sweet, light bitter. Medium body, silky texture, high carbonation, dry bitter finish with an alcoholic note. Overall, a good "tripel" french ale : nice aroma, good taste (I would have loved more bitterness).
