COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the new version of the old Duchesse Anne 6°.

Part of a pack from a French supermarket. Hazy golden with a frothy white head. This is pretty decent - plenty of zesty citrus zing, bitter and moderately spicy. Quite a creamy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. An orange opaque beer with yellow hints at the bottom of the glass. Medium white head; light retention. Aroma of biscuit, fruits (citrus, plum?), herbs, gingerbread, and a bit acid. Medium sugary sweet, light bitter. Medium body, silky texture, high carbonation, dry bitter finish with an alcoholic note. Overall, a good "tripel" french ale : nice aroma, good taste (I would have loved more bitterness).

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 33cl. Cloudy yellow. Almost jumped out of the bottle. Big white head. Rich malty flavors with hints of orange. Tastes a bit like a strong wheat beer. Not a trappist trippel style. Nice one. Medium length.

bottle from saveur-biere. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. Fruity-grainy nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty with a very shy touch of alcohol. Honey and herbs present, with a shy yeasty fruity touch, not overly sweet, but well balanced.

Bottle from Mam and Dad’s holiday, France. This is a hazy straw coloured beer with vanilla and earthy flavours, a creamy mouthfeel and a zesty lemon fruity finish.
