Bottle. A mostly clear one, golden in color and with a white head on top. Some dried fruits on the nose, with a little oxidation and some fresh fruits. Quite sweet on the palate, medium bodied and dry. Caramel maltyness and some fruityness in the flavor. Dried fruits and some cellar. Malty finish. A quite nice beer that certainly keeps well. 111105

Una delle prime birre di micro francesi assaggiate a Parigi quest’anno, precisamente allo Hall’s Beer Tavern; sapeva tantissimo di lievito. Sigh.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2011 (33 cl bottle) Pours a clear golden with rich white head that laces the glass. Aroma has citric notes and a clearly spicy influence - muscat and coriander? The taste is mildly sweet and with a mild bitterness and with the aforementioned spicy notes. Palate is oily, lively carbonation, full-bodied with an astringent finish. Girlfriend says: "It’s a bit smoky" (sic)
