COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
La bière de Noël est le fruit d’une tradition brassicole vieille de plusieurs siècles. Issue des dernières récoltes d’orges, cette bière, autrefois dite "d’octobre", bénéficiait des températures plus fraîches de l’automne et pouvait mûrir tranquillement pendant plusieurs semaines. "Nedeleg laouen" (joyeux Noël en breton) est une bière russe pur malt, atypique et généreuse, plus forte et épicée.

Hazy amber color, with orange reflex; generous head, creamy. Mild aroma of malt, bread, vegetables, spices, hazelnuts. Good body strength, but in the front there is a dusty bread flavor, followed by sweetish malt and vegetables, sweet nuts. Low bitterness. Not bad, but easy, and a bit too dusty.

from Au Grain d’Orge, Neuchâtel - hazy dark reddish beer with a modest foam left; malty and gently spicy aroma with notes of red fruits and cognac; quite sweet and full-bodied, gently sticky and with a solid carbonation, slightly dry and long tart herbal, malty and fruity finish with lingering spicy notes

Orange, amber coloured beer, head should hold some longer. Spiced, anice, coriander. Good fruity and caramel. Mostly sweet, a bit siropy. A bit simple but not bad, bitterness at the end is ok.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, candy sugar, and alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottle: Amber color and a creamy head. Malty aroma with fruity and spicy notes. Flavor is malty, light to medium sweet with notes of roasted malts and spices (pepper, hints of ginger). Alos fruity notes with hints of citrus and orange peel. Light bitter and dry finish with notes of hops.

bottle, village de la bière Strasbourg. Deep amber colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Malty nose. Malty with lots of caramel and roasetd malts. Interesting spices and herbs such as coriander, clove and aniseed blend in. Lingering spicy finish.
