33cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with some roasty notes and hints of dark fruits. Sweet and malty with a pleasant fruitiness and a light bitterness in the finish. Well balanced and quite flavourful. Nice and refreshing. (2013-02-16 - shared by a friend who brought it back from France)

Brown/black in the glass, with oily beige head. Aroma is slight, but taste is stronger, with some coffee bitterness and a hint of dark chocolate. Has almost a German dunkel character to it.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, shoe polish, cacao, ash notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to bitter with a average duration, roasted, sod, buckwheat ? sulfur notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20121019]

4.5% almost black in colour with a quickly dispersing head, caramel malt aroma, mild but fizzy roast malt taste and slightly watery.

Bottle @ French Oktoberfest Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Chocolate, ash and cookies. Sweet. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roated malty ashy caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty smoky ash finish.

Bottle @ FoneFan, 4.5%. very dark brown/red with small beige head. Aroma is light roasted malts, chocolate and bread. Flavour is light roasted malts, chocolate, little sweet, caramel, light nutty, hop, little bitter and a little acid.

App.: Deep brown-black with an ashen tan head.
Aroma: Metallic, iron, tangy coffee, fruitiness, minerals, faint ash, tight (maybe due to temperature).
Palate: Medium+ body, creamy, prickly effervescence.
Flav.: Still metallic, a little fruit, caramel notes, hints of chocolate, a little grapey, odd; dry with minimal bitterness and a not unpleasant roasted malt finish.
Kinda messy.
