COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Sampled from a bottle purchased in Paris. A buckwheat beer brewed from buckwheat and barley. Very dark brown and hazy with thick, creamy beige head. Spicy aromas, and a taste reminiscent of a dark wheat beer. Spice and chocolate in the flavours but a rather thin taste and mouthfeel. Slightly metallic with a very mild bitterness.

Dark brown, big beige head. Spicy yeast and wheat aroma. Light roasted, sweet caramel. Lively carb, low body.

Robe brune dense, mousse crémeuse. Nez malté, chocolaté, café, note lactée. Bouche à l’attaque ronde, fruitée, mousse onctueuse, finale équilibrée. Une belle bière pleine de rondeur.

Pours a dark chestnut. Despite my cold I still get a nice aroma of spices. Taste is also rich is spices.

9/10/2011 10:35:36 AM Thanks Pascal (jaghana) for another great bottle. Dark brown body with puffy head. Nose of dark chocolate, malts and spices. Quite nice actually. Taste is a bit blander with a paper, chocolate and vanilla finish. Pretty good.
