Pours dark with a light copper hint. Very nice foam, approx 1 finger thick and light brown, foam reminds me (apart from the colour) of a mousse au chocolat. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee, hints of fruits like mandarins. tastes pretty light yet good carbonisation, more of a refreshing beer than a complex beer. Again aromas of coffee, slight hints of bitter chocolate, strangely a bit like iron/metal. Not one of my favourites, not bad either.

Sampled from a bottle purchased in Paris. A buckwheat beer brewed from buckwheat and barley. Very dark brown and hazy with thick, creamy beige head. Spicy aromas, and a taste reminiscent of a dark wheat beer. Spice and chocolate in the flavours but a rather thin taste and mouthfeel. Slightly metallic with a very mild bitterness.
