Dark blond color with a sweet taste, though drinkable, this is definitely not my idea of a good wheat beer.

Water beer, that’s the best description. Only drink this if you absolutely want beer and there’s nothing else around.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml can at home, poured into a big Guinness pint glass. ABV 4.7%
Pours a bright golden orange colour on the body, with a tall white head, froathy, it starts collapsinf fast, leaving traces of lacing around the glass and some foam islands on the beer’s surface.
Aroma is grassy, pretty generic pale lager. Some light hay in there too which I imagine when the beer starts warming up will be heavier and dirtier, as a smell.
Taste is very sweet, very malty, again with grass and some light metallic notes, especially on the aftertaste. A light bitterness can be found there as well, but not enough to keep the sweet flavour at bay.
Medium thin body, okay carbonation, at least is not on the low side. Good dryness on the palate.
Overall nothing special but after a long day at work, this being the first beer of the day didn’t bother me that much. Easy, mindless drinking.

500 ml can from the Albert Heijn around the corner. ABV 4.9%, poured into a big pint glass.
Crystal clear and pale golden yellow on the body, with a big white head on top, soapy, with average retention and very light lacing left on the glass.
Aroma of malts, dirty hay, soil. Ordinary.
Slighty sweet taste, some metallic notes, malts, a bit of hay on the taste too.
Very thin mouthfeel, light carbonation. Quite watery, but refreshing nevertheless.
Overall, nothing special.
