Bottle: musty, grassy, harsh, watery, metallic, sourish......Long live the "German Purity Law" !

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas sieht das Bier da schon besser aus. Schöne klare, goldgelbe Farbe, eine große Schaumkrone, welche sich auch noch recht lange auf dem Bier hält. Geruchlich gibt’s auch nix zu meckern. Schöne frische Hopfendüfte steigen in die Nase. Der Antrunk ist ebenfalls genehm. Gutes Hopfenaroma, allerdings wirkts ein wenig lasch und wässrig. Der Nachgeschmack geht leicht ins Würzige. Ich muss sagen, das Billigbier weiss zu gefallen. Preis-Leistung top! Süffig, gut hopfig-herb, trinkt sich wirklich gut!

Pilsig-helle Farbe. Geruch hopfig und säuerlich, irgendwie vergoren. Geschmacklich startet das Bier zunächst ansprechend herb, um aber kurz danach ins unangenehm Bittere umzuschlagen. Dieser Trend verstärkt sich insbesondere im Abgang. Gar nicht gut, gar nicht gut.Test vom 26.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Geruch und Aussehen gefallen, der Geschmack allerdings ist die Härte. Widerlich, und das ganze wird im Nachgeschmack noch schlimmer. Viel zu sauer das Ganze, das trink ich nicht nochmal. Test vom 11.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,5,4,3,6,3 - 4,40

Bottle looks very simple, like a cheap beer. The beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts very metallically and dry, more and more sourish and woody. Finish unbalanced, not very drinkable. Not good!

Bottle. Golden with a small head.Hoppy with a slight bitterness. Pleasant and refreshing leaving lots of lacing. A good example of its type but nothing special.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear pale golden with a dense, white head. Clean malty nose. Medium body, sweet clean malts, some flowery accents. Dry and lightly bitter finish. A very clean offering. 040409 and 140509

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a clear, yellow-golden body under a small, white head. Grainy nose with some fruity hops. Grainsy and hoppy flavor but not very much bitterness. Some faint notes of alcohol too. Sweetish impression on the palate, but it’s actually rather dry. Medium fullness. Where the initial flavor lacks on bitterness, the finish doesn’t. A decent beer, nothing else. (090514)

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cabbage water, cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090404]

Oudy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma was rotten with with vegy notes. Flavour was rotten with vegy notes. Finished rotten.

bought in Düsseldorf - pale and clear golden colour, little and persistent foam; fairly herbal aroma; slightly spicy; medium-bodied, sweet and decently bitter; long herbal finish, quite dry
