Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks 16.04.11 Pours copper in colour with a few bubbles. Surprisingly I found this to be quite dull and with very little going on which is a shame as I gather this is a relatively new brewery and from West Yorkshire. To be honest this is an area which has been very reliable for decent beers though more often in the Golden category. Maybe I should have read the description posted on the blackboard, ’Light bodied with a pleasant blend of malt and hops’ it was light bodied however there really wasn’t a lot of maltiness or hops going on. I founfd it to be a little caramelly, thin and a bit watery. However I will look out for more from this brewery maybe this one just wasn’t for me. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov10 2.7
