This Ale surprised me. Pour a thick dark amber red, explosive with hoppy aroma. As a red ale, it definitely had signs of an IPA. It takes your tastbuds for a journey and pushes your preconceptions of what a red ale is. Def. not a traditional REd. But is good if you like something different

Reddish tinge to this bottled beer. Good amount of lace and moderate head. It is hoppy more than malty, not a bad red. Malty aroma, doesn’t whiff of c-hop.

Pours with a dark red body, too dark to see through, and a small sticky head, Aroma is hops (piney, sweet, whatever) first then a slightly infected malty Irish Red behind that. Taste is actually kind of light, some spiky sweet hops and a malty backdrop. Light bodied with average carbonation. Just a plain old hop beer with maybe a slight infection.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-red with an average size lasting off-white head. Very mild sweet aroma with fruit, sugar and light hops. Flavour’s also sweet with fruit, sugar, caramel malt and very light hops -- it’s quite bland tasting. Average bodied. Just alright, it’s very mediocre.

(bottle - 12 oz) Nice red color with a puffy off-white head. Aroma is light and very floral with a good dose of hops. Flavor has a lot of strong hop notes at the beginning with a citrus and floral middle and a very hoppy, lingering, and bitter finish.
