3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy. Fine hoppy and more and more spicy-wheaty, some mild grasy notes. Finish still mild, well balanced, fine spicy. Very drinkable. Nice pils!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Poured from Partyfaß at One Pint Pub Augustfest) Poured golden and hazy. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma was malty and mildly grassy. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, mildly grass and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. Not a classic style pils but a nice one.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Vernünftiges Pils mit ein wenig Malz, Getreide und mild im Hopfen. Buttrig, zum Ende hin etwas derbe-herb, aber immer noch im Rahmen. Erfrischend und süffig. Gut überm Schnitt.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep golden colour with low head and crisp body. Aroma of hops and flowers - not bad. Taste of fresh and light hops, flowers, sweet bread, grass and peach. Fruity-flowery finish. Surprisingly smooth and flowery / peachy finish for a Pils - I enjoyed it. Quaffable and refreshing with a light carbonation and balanced dry-sweetness.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
18th Jan 2014 and I find myself in the Saxony-Anhalt presentation area of Berlin’s International Green Week. I spied a bar from Landsberg and venture over, Pilsner and a Swartz beer available on tap: I order one of each and find a resting place.
My 0.3 Litre Premium Pilsner came a golden bodied, clear and clean, bright beer with a fast fading snowy white crown.
The aroma was also typical of German Pilsners, there was very little of anything in the nose. Gets my usual 3 score for a non smelling Pilsner / lager.
The taste leaned towards a maltiness but the hops stopped any sweetness from taking over the flavouring: this a dry, refreshing beer with a bitter finish: very little actual taste.
Nothing wrong with this beer, it just seemed a normal, bog standard, ordinary sort of brew with no features to pick up on, good or bad.
