| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Land Shark was an AWESOME vehicle for the Masters of the Universe toy line back in the early 80s. It was this purple vehicle with sweet tank treads, laser guns along the side, and a big shark head on the front. As you drove the Land Shark, the shark’s jaws opened and closed menacingly. Throw Skeletor in the driver’s seat, and the Land Shark would go tearing across Eternia after He-Man and his band of heroes. If the Land Shark ever caught one of He-Man’s cronies, the mighty jaws would repeatedly chomp down on its victim. Sure, the teeth were soft plastic, but this toy RULED. I can still recall the commercial for the dreaded Land Shark with the catchy "Land Shark, Land Shark" chant as Skeletor chased the scrawny Mekaneck across the jungle, only to be saved by the brawny He-Man.
Land Shark the toy: awesome. LandShark the lager, not so much. Pale golden, head falls to nothing. Corny and sour grain nose. Grainy, lightly sour, lightly sweet flavor with a bit of cookie malts. Metallic finish. PhillyBeer2112 (2086), Orange Park, Florida, USA

They did it with Heineken (Bud World Select) and with Shiner Bock (Zeigenbock). Now I discover LandShark after moving to FL and lo and behold its a Corona clone through and through. Similar corn yellow color, sweet corny palate and finish that lacks hops entirely. tronraner (1911), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Clear bottle. Pours yellow with white head. The aroma is paper and corn. The flavor is tons of corn, musty wet clothes, and a gross chemical sweetness. This is terrible. nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA
