Dec 24, 2008 12oz bottle from Publix Supermarkets (Tampa, FL). Pours a crystal clear bright yellow with a thick and pillowy bright white head that settles rapidly without leaving much lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet, slightly hoppy with a slightl sour note. Flavor is about the same with fairly subdued malt and hop notes. Generally sweet and slightly bitter finish with a light body overall.

Nov 28, 2008 I saw this in KY in a Kroger and just couldn’t pass up Buelette Beer!
Straw yellow pour with tons of frothy head. Skunky hops scent. Waterry and generic. Slight better hops aftertaste. Reminds me of Corona and is about as ’good’

Nov 21, 2008 Come on, why? Why I say? Jimmy Buffett should be ashamed to put his name with this. bland yellow pour. white head. grainy and bland aroma. grainy and a hint of sweetness on the tongue. not a good beer at all!!!!

Well, as you can probably tell through the clear glass (frown) bottle, color is a urine yellow, but what you can’t perceive until pouring it is that a large, fizzy head will erupt and quickly fade. If you left it in the bottle, you would also miss out on the aromas... which are better than the appearance, but still smack of American Macrolager: light corn with a bit of grass. Nothing particularly offensive in the nose, just nothing to entice, either. Aroma is the strong suit, Flavor is a meaningless amalgam of corn, corny sweetness and water. It leaves a bit of an unpleasant flavor in the mouth, and I can see how a lime or a lemon might help out this beer. (And anytime my beer needs fruit, things look bleak.)
