TheSponge (272), Lynnwood, Washington, USA May 12, 2008 Pours a light golden yellow. Taste just like a Corona, but less skunky. A slice of lime would obviously pair well with this, but I am unfortunately out. osuguy4287 (3), Columbus, Ohio, USA does not count May 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden. Would be good beer to enjoy at the beach or when boating. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA May 10, 2008 Stinky like I thought it might. But, it is clean looking with a good head. Surprisingly good flavor? Heavier body than I thought it would have and a nice sweet malt and nice hint of citrous. DrPiva (90), Alabama, USA May 9, 2008 Bottle, yellow color, carbonated OK. I guess I might enjoy it at the beach - it is an obvious corona competitor, maybe a bit lighter. Not a beer to enjoy, one to just get drunk on . blutt59 (2045), Dallas, Texas, USA May 9, 2008 bottle, billowy head with thin malt taste and some sugar, yellow color , sharp bitter finish, sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 7, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear gold, white head. Skunky, skunky skunky.... Thank god I found a single for sale. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA May 7, 2008 Pours a pale yellow with a decent amount of pure white head. Smells almost sour. Taste is very crisp...not too sour like the smell indicated, but not really good either. There is a lingering bitterness. Very light body and average carbonation. gfolivares (67), McAllen, Texas, USA May 7, 2008 Updated: May 12, 2008Pours a sparkling clear golden color with a surprisingly big white head. Subtle malty aroma with hints of sweet freshly steamed white rice. Very light body with gentle cornflake/ricecrispies-like taste and a crisp, very mild hop finish. Although this beer is bashed by homebrewers and the anti-anything-AB people, it is refreshing and appetizing, and worth trying as an alternative to other US light lagers. Sporting the clear bottle with painted-on lable look, this is sure to be the Corona Killer here in the US. Try with a fried seafood platter and french fries.
