Pours a pale yellow with a decent amount of pure white head. Smells almost sour. Taste is very crisp...not too sour like the smell indicated, but not really good either. There is a lingering bitterness. Very light body and average carbonation.

Pours a sparkling clear golden color with a surprisingly big white head. Subtle malty aroma with hints of sweet freshly steamed white rice. Very light body with gentle cornflake/ricecrispies-like taste and a crisp, very mild hop finish. Although this beer is bashed by homebrewers and the anti-anything-AB people, it is refreshing and appetizing, and worth trying as an alternative to other US light lagers. Sporting the clear bottle with painted-on lable look, this is sure to be the Corona Killer here in the US. Try with a fried seafood platter and french fries.

I thought this one would be a good beer to try after I got done cutting the lawn, and I was right. This was a clean, crisp light fresh brew. Sure there might have been corn or rice in it, but maybe a little malt too. I enjoyed it after a good mow. Maybe I’ll rerate after some less heated conditions.

I can’t understand the rating this beer is getting on Ratebeer... I don’t know if the reviewers are mostly ale lovers who don’t normally drink american lagers (and therefore don’t know how to judge them) or if they just don’t have a palate. I love good beer... i appreciate great scotch ales, alts, doppelbocks, pale ales, etc. etc. Whether they are ultra hoppy, malty, high alcohol, low alcohol, whatever. Most importantly, I appreciate them WITHIN THEIR STYLE GUIDELINES. That being said, this beer, within the style guideline of an American lager, is a GOOD beer. To say that this beer gets a lower rating than Bud (which currently has a rating of 7 on Ratebeer) is absolutely insane (and brings the value of Ratebeer into question)! This beer is heads and tails above the likes of Corona, Bud, Coors, etc... This is a good representation of a craft version of an American Lager. Is it worth the $8 price tag I usually see? I don’t know if I’ll go that far, but when I’m in the mood for this style, it’s absolutely the first beer I’ll grab from the cooler... If you’re a beer snob, but want a no frills summer lager that you don’t have to think about while you’re drinking it, this is a great choice. Forget the other low reviews here... If you’re a beer lover that enjoys most (or all) beer styles, I know you’ll be happy with this beer.

Kinda cool label (kinda) and tastes just like a Corona. Nothing superb but not as bad as most people here make it out to be. If you like Corona, knock yourself out. If you like more full bodied and full flavored beer, try something else.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light-medium yellow (pee) with a very small off-white/yellowish head. Smelled like sweat, straw/hay and lime. Very thin body with a watered down corn flavor. Finished a bit salty. Not good.
