twindadplus2 (408), Wisconsin, USA Apr 16, 2008 This must be A/B’s attempt to grab the Corona crowd. Lets see... Pale, barely discernible color with a thin, fizzy head. Aroma of corn and adjuncts. Flavor of stale grain. Cap that off with a premium price for a lousy beer and I’d say they nailed the Corona experience perfectly. Too bad that’s not a good thing. nchomefinder (29), North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2008 no taste at all. i paid $8.00 for this. it is better than corona, but not by much. Gypsy19 (604), California, USA Apr 14, 2008 I’m quite disappointed to say the least. Is this Anheuser-Busch’s attempt at "microbrewing"? What the fuck? I should’ve known something was up with the whole "Island Style Lager" schtick. What the fuck does that even mean anyway? Excuse me if your reading this but I’m just pissed that I spent $8.49 for a 6-pack of this crap that apparently can’t figure out if it’s a beer or a Tommy Bahama shirt. Fins Up? HOW ABOUT A FIN UP YOUR ASS MARGARITAVILLE BREWING COMPANY. pkbites (309), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 14, 2008 This beer doesn’t taste bad. In fact, it doesn’t have any taste at all. This beer has almost no flavor. It tastes like air mixed with water. And it’s expensive. Why would anyone pay so much to drink something that has no flavor when water is free? jlf278 (252), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Apr 14, 2008 12 oz. pours with little head, woeful pale urine color. Aroma is of corn and fusel. Flavor is better than aroma but not by much...very, very little taste. Palate is actually quite nice, well tuned for the otherwise ill-fated design of this pale lager. Good carbonation, nice refreshing mouthfeel. Overall, went down okay, didn’t finish but might actually drink again if free and nothing else but corona is available. Jine (889), Nutley, New Jersey, USA Apr 13, 2008 4.03.08 So is this the Margaritaville version of Corona? Drinkable, in that "I can’t taste this" way. Super pale and in a clear bottle means probably not so good. MrRain (416), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Apr 13, 2008 12oz bottle poured into a shaker. LL pours dark yellow like an MGD. The head is medium and leaves a dirty ring of lacing at the top. This tastes much like a typical Corona-like beer. It’s hydrating and easy to drink but not anything that really stands out. It falls into the myriad of beers in the style that come from the Equitorial regions of the Western Hemisphere. BMan1113VR (2758), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Apr 11, 2008 Yellow body, white foamy head, not much retention. Aroma is normal pale lager. Taste is of adjuncts, mainly corn. Somewhat smooth mouthfeel for a common macro.
