Made by A-B, but says Margaritaville on the bottle, so I’m guessing somehow Jimmy Buffet is involved. As if selling the same bland-ass song over and over wasn’t enough, now he wants to sell you the same old macro swill beer? Can’t wait for the promo tie in "LandSharkville" to sweep the nation. Guess I should just be glad there isn’t lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatos in this. Too bad he isn’t the son of a son of a Guy who knows how to make a good beer. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Pour is very clear pale yellow with a medium to small white head. Aroma is of skunky hops/malts. I wonder if this was an old bottle. Flavor is a tad more robust then I had axpected, the skuck is not present in the flavor. The hops are very mild, and the malts are very light. An ok beer, at best. captianoats (30), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Mar 26, 2008 I honestly had high hopes for this brew. 1. I am a confessed parrothead. 2. Margarittaville Tequila is one of the better mass market tequilas in my opinion. 3. Everything I have ever had w/ Jimmy Buffett’s name on it has impressed me.
Not this time. Pale color, I had to add a ton of salt and lime juice to remind myself this wasn’t water. If you want a decent mexican style beer, buy Sol, if you want crappy mexican beer, buy Corona. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 26, 2008 ...pale yellowish corona type beer. Overly carbonated, fizzy with a slight flavor, but not much. Not worth the price, and is supposed to be a local beer, but it isn’t. Buy something else instead of this. unclemike (834), Ft. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottle: Super pale yellow, pellucid, very fizzy, too high of carbonation. Thin head and spotty lacing. Nose is a bit dusty with faint pilsner malt and some noble hops. Surprisingly unskunked for a clear bottle. Fresh maybe? The flavor is crisp and fresh, a bit lacking in body with a fizzy lemony mouthfeel and a grassy finish. Decent lager redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Boring, but easy to drink. Had it with Mexican food and it suited the occasion pretty well. Pours completely clear gold and tastes like a pale lager.
