Drank from bottle at a party. Clear straw color with white foam. Almost complete lack of aroma/taste. Except for the Jimmy Buffett marketing tie-in, it’s indistinguishable from any other low-grav AB light lager.

12 oz. bottle. Pale mass market beer color. Slightly skunky smell from the clear glass bottle stuck in a case under florescent lights. First taste has a note of candy. Still, like many AB beers, I can at least pick out a note of hops. But then that odd, sweet candy note returns.

I liked this one a lot better than I thought I would. Seems like a wide discrepancy better raters on it. It was refreshing to me on a 90 degree day in South Dakota. Maybe I imagined myself on a tropical beach which led to my ranking it higher than some... Honestly, not bad, not great. :)

Boliv (1045) - New York, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear yellow, aromas of sweet malt and light hops, maybe some corn. Flavor is sweet straw, malt, and maybe some slight hop bitterness. Actually a pretty drinkable lager, compared to most. Easy to have a few of these. [843]

A sad sad excuse for light beer.... The taste is minimal... It doesn’t last long and is very watered down... There is not much of a head to the beer. The only positive would be the color, at least its the color of beer.

Had this at Margaritaville in Vegas. Not a very good beer. You can make it more drinkable by adding Lime Tequila.

JDBaker11058 (680) - Maryland, USA - SEP 15, 2011
Appearance: light hazy gold, short creamy white head. Aroma: grains, a little lemon, grass and drying hay. Taste: hint of honey nut cheerios, ritz crackers, and lemon zest. Finish: smooth, creamy and crisp, a little lingering sweetness. Notes: Maybe I’m crazy, but I actually liked this. Drinkable, smooth, a little sweet, and (I thought) pretty flavorful for a ’tropical’ lager. Pretty good vacation beer if your choice is limited.

3 Sept 2011, bottle. yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. smells like a sweet malty lager with some lemon citrus notes. thin body and slightly fizzy. tastes like a sweet, malty lager. not much bitterness. meh.

Bottle at some crappy joint in Southport, NC. Great hang with my fam, but a depressing food and drink experience on every level. I thought to myself, perhaps I can at least get a tick out of it, and I have. But the only word from the commercial description I’d sign off on is "drinkable." Plus, docked a couple points just because Jimmy Buffett is a total dild.
