thefederalist (226), Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA Jul 19, 2009 Bottle. Didn’t bother decanting. Reminds me of Red Stripe, citrusy, bright, sharp carbonation. Flavor gets a bit corny if it gets too warm but overall it’s not bad for AB. One of their better efforts. bburychka (55), Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2009 It has a good flavor, but only if you’re looking for a macrobrew. Very similar to others in its category. The flavor does not last long which leads to quantity not quality consumption. Vertical Bacon Strips (874), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jul 14, 2009 Thanks mom and pop for smuggling this back from Jamaica.
Clear bottle and plastic label means quality of the highest order. Poured out a small foamy quick death cap on top of a pale light yellow gold brew. There is nothing wrong with the aroma but it seriously lacks character - mild, slightly sweet, corn but quite alright - no skunk. The taste is grainy and empty with a slight metallic ting.... maybe more than slight. Too gassy and borders on a low alcohol beer for mouth feel and taste and aroma and appearance and... is there anything else? Finishes dry with a slight tingle and the knowing that as I pretty much chugged this that a massive throat ripping belch in on the horizon... arventresca (334), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Jul 12, 2009 I had a Miller Lite prior to this one and the miller had more flavor and body than this. That is all I need to say about this sad shit. shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Jul 11, 2009 Unknown Date (2007?): More fizzy yellow beer... Landshark Lager has a pale yellow color, a white head, a slightly skunky aroma, some sweet pale malt in the aroma, a medium level of carbonation, and a soft, smooth texture. Anything unique about this beer? No way!
12 fl. oz. bottle (sample). Rating #449 for this beer.
TheGent (144), , Massachusetts, USA Jul 7, 2009 It looks like a corona, smells like a bud and tastes like a coors. So same crap different label. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 4, 2009 Pours clear yellow. Smell is mostly water. Some pale light maltiness. Taste is watery, slight corn like malt and a bit of metal. Thin body and refreshing. Not too bad considering what it is.
