Boring American macro pale lager appearance. Boring sweet corn taste, with a hint of citrus.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance was yellow with white head that diminished to some lacing rather quickly. Aroma was rather slight, very like most other macro brews, with some corn and very little hops. The flavor was light, but with more flavor than some lighter lagers, but still not very strong. Has a slight sweetness to it reminiscent of MGD. Very clean finish.
This beer is exactrly what it was designed to be: a very easy to drink American Lager with a built-in fanbase in parrot head clubs and other Jimmy Buffett fans. Nothing spectacular about it, but itís not bad as far as American Lagers go.

I loved the beer, when are you going to sell it in Kentucky! The flavor, in my opinion was far better than Corona, no bitter taste.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pours with small fizzy head like soda pop and a clear pale yellow body. Aroma is very faint, but smells lightly of hops...very lightly. Flavor is lacking to say the least and I find nothing to define in it. Finish is clean, crisp, and empty as if youíd just had a sip of fizzy water. I suppose this is perfect if you donít like your beer to taste beery. I give it extra points for having less flavor than michelob ultra. I can appreciate the effort it took to make a beer so mild. One of the few beers Iíd consider putting a lime in to add flavor.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear yellow with not much foam. Aroma is light and reminiscent of Corona. Dry hops and some corn. Flavor is very light and refreshing. Tastes a little better with the lime. It worked well on a hot day.

Nice yellow, corona look. Slightly better than corona in my opinion. Goodfor ahot summer day, best served ice cold. Very little taste. I do like the bottle shape however....

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle-I fell for this gimick beer as it has been showing up at a lot of places in my area lately. Guess itís a corona ripoff, the whole Margaritaville Brewing Co. thing concealed it as an AB product-doesnít say it anywhere on the bottle. Not much to it, drinkable, not much more-Iíd say it better than Corona, thats @ all.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a five finger fizzy white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Clear pale yellow/green color. Low carbonation and light-medium bodied. Stale water nose. Flavor is sweet corn with hops in background. Not very beer like, good lawn mower beer. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capitol Convenience Concord, NH.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
I would disagree with the previous review. I think if Corona was fresh (itís not - it usually taste pretty skunky and oxidized to me), I think it would taste like this, which is to say like nothing. Count me as unimpressed.
Appearance was bland macro. Yellow and fizzy. Aroma was virtually non-existence, although my nose developed some rather offensive corn notes after it hung out deep in my glass for a couple of minutes. Flavor was....there was no flavor. Mouthfeel...if there was one it would be like water. Nothing to this beer which could be inoffensive to some, but I was expecting more (like something).
I remember hearing a David Allen Coe song making fun of Jimmy Buffett ("Jimmy Buffett Doesnít Live in Key West Anymore") - Iím wondering if he could make a better beer.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2009 This beer tastes nothing like a corona. The only resemblance is the color of the beer and the clear bottle. You do not want to add a lime or lemon to this beer. Great for the summer when you just want to kick back and relax with a good beer.
