Drank this one out of a bottle...the restaurant I was at didn’t have a glass for me...and I am not a big fan of plastic cups...gave those up with the college keggers. I did not like this all that much...this is Bud trying to be Corona..and I can’t stand Corona.... This ones aroma was weak..as well as the taste.

Hate to admit that I enjoyed this one, maybe the vacation made it more enjoyable, but I found it much more formidable than corona with a tiny hint of malt in a mexican copy.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Corona clone. Watery yellow lager that really needs a lime to make it drinkable. With a lime, its not horrible for a poolside on a hot day, but that’s about it.

Bottle, from Duvel tulip, at cellar temp. Color is darker than the average pale lager. Head is big and frothy and leaves a lasting layer. Lacing is actually decent. Smells like all the rest: boiled vegetables with a skunky note from the clear bottle. Light body, thin yet sticky (syrupy) texture, fizzy carbonation. Tastes like it smells. Finish shows a bit of a bite, but not a pleasant hoppy one. More like a chemical burn. This beer is just a gimmick to take sales from Corona. They’re basically indistinguishable.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle Pours a clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of corn. Taste was very blah. A typical american lager. It was a direct competition of Corona. Served with lime and all. It was okay at the beach on vacation but probally wouldn’t waste time having another

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2007 Bottle at County Grill. Clear bottle and the label stated it was made in Florida by Margaritaville Brewing. I had never heard of that brewer so thought this was a contract brew but didn’t know through whom. Seeing this is A-B would explain the beer.... Yellow-gold bodied. Small white fizzy head. Smells akin to a Corona. Not as much cereal though. Corn notes, soft hay or grass. Bit of lemon notes. Taste is on par with Corona (which is how the waitress described it). Corn syrup and seltzer water with soft malts and grass/hay. Body is light and bubbly. Went down well on a hot night though. Finishes with more corn, soft cereal, grass/hay and seltzer water. Blech!

A weak yellow pour, weak on aroma, flavor and after-taste just an over all weak beer.

Had to try this over marketed beer, I wasn’t expecting anything much, and I wasn’t let down. Pours a shade darker than Corona Piss yellow, kind of like when you take a lot of vitamins and take a piss. Watery, slightly skunky and maybe a tad more flavor than a Corona, but I could easily see this beer being toted around with a lime in the top by an abercrombie clad frat boy. Buffet should have saved some face and not put his brand name on this one.

Chalk one up for marketing - I did like the bottle. As for the beer, its unexceptional, a little skunky, and if I’m drinking an AB product I’d rather have a Bud than paying 2x the price for this.

Bottle. After all the hype, I figured I’d try one. And it is pretty much an American Corona. Not the worst thing I have ever tasted, but pretty crappy overall.
