WVHouseofBeer (341), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA May 14, 2009 Really just a copy of Corona. Nothing of note here, just a skunky watery taste and smell, and it pours a straw yellow. Just one of the many Pale Lagers from A-B that aren’t very good. mbgrayson (141), Anaconda, Montana, USA May 10, 2009 A fairly bland beer. But on the upside, it is very drinkable and is refreshing on a hot day. A clear yellow, with a white head. A soda pop type lager beer. But still, I like it.... dwaggs2 (534), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA May 8, 2009 If I have to drink a macro lager this is what I go for. This is better than most of the other pale lagers out there. It is better then Corna and all those beers. It is what it is. Nothing really is the flavor department. Malts and more malts. Maybe some grass and corn. Very thin and watery. The only thing is you can pound a lot of them at the bar. Very smooth and crisp. Suede53 (39), Canton, Ohio, USA May 4, 2009 Updated: May 5, 2009[Bottle] Clear yellow with white soapy head. Aroma was virtually non-existant. Taste was about what I expected, very plain and watery. No finish. Could be very refreshing but so is water and it’s cheaper. Foxbush (452), Richmond, Virginia, USA May 1, 2009 This is a drinkable lager. Not much for uniqueness or being special. It is like the Mexican beers that are for refreshmnet not beer drinking pleasure. I had a bottle at a dinner party in the West end of Richmond. It was cold and refreshing. achtungpv (129), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 26, 2009 The American Corona. Not good warm and vastly improved with a wedge of lime or lemon. BgThang (118), Texas, USA Apr 26, 2009 Was giving to me free to try so I feel the obligation to review it.
The color was very clear golden color.
The nose is that of a typical lager with maybe a slight fruit sweetness to it.
The taste is that of a lager with some fruity seetness to it. A very refreshing beer that I may consider after mowing the lawn.
Very light thin bodied. THe female crowd should love this beer.
The drinkability on this is very easy.
I could see myself grabbing this over BMC if it was my only choice.
