bottle. Bad. Skunky yellow ass piss. Stay away from this one. AB’s answer to Corona
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2008
Sampled from a 12 oz clear bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large white head. The aroma was sour industrial lager with a noted skunky element. The flavor was sour, tangy and just slightly sweet with a very light skunky undertone. The finish was a bit sweet and corny.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 SudsMcDuff (3365) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - OCT 13, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2008 Bought in Galveston --- Smell is of slightly sweet corn .. big head on the pour, dies down to decent foam pool, lacing is very impressive --- Taste on the first few sips, well frankly sucks! ...but after awhile it mellows out a bit , some sweet, skunk, metallic ugliness.... On The Beach Beer Only! -- dammit mark!
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 unclemattie (3354) - Georgia, USA - OCT 22, 2007
20oct07. 12oz clear bottle. Clear yellow, white fizzy head. Aroma of pale malt lager. Flavor is very refreshing, crisp, and clean. I was expecting Bud in a clear bottle or a Corona impersonation. This was surprisingly refreshing. At $5.90 a bottle @ Margaritaville, LV... better off buying a 6pk of it back home.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - MAY 14, 2008
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2008 My 750th American rating. Bottle, clear glass. Misty, slightly skunked aroma with firm, abundant carbonation and a grainy citrus combination. Somehow medicinal lemon cooler. Pale neon yellow body with a noisy bright white head. Dryish, grainy, slightly bready taste, dull and bland but not offensive. Watery, thin body, ever so slight chalky coating on the tongue, and mostly well-hidden alcohol. Touch of sweet corn, overall effect has just a touch of sweetness (As we’d expect by style), but not really all that cloying. Not terrible, as expected, but not unfairly maligned - this isn’t exactly beer as we know it. I don’t think I’d turn down another, if it were cold enough, and if it were free.
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 IrishBoy (3339) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 20, 2008
12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose of honey, grain, and a minor caramel note; gold with a medium white head; flavor is corn syrup sweetness and a tiny bit of pepperness; finish slightly sweet. Not as bad as Bud, but just another pale lager.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Beerlando (3325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 3, 2007
Corona clone. Watery yellow lager that really needs a lime to make it drinkable. With a lime, its not horrible for a poolside on a hot day, but that’s about it.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 KAggie97 (3290) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2007
Bottle from the First Houston Tasting Sorry to say I offered this putrid mess... Pours yellow like old man urine with an aroma of retarded skunk piss. Flavor is similar to what one would expect while chowing down on the corn used for Purina dog food. Pure water on the tongue, except you’ll get drunk drinking too much of this crap. Fins to the left, fins to the right, and if this was the only beer in sight I’d slit my throat.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Bottle at The Fish House in Bonita Springs, FL. Poured a white, medium sized head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, trasparent, carbonation observed, and a yellow hue. Nose was malt, corn and somewhat crisp. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel and light-medium in body. This, IMO, is not a totally bad beer as I would take this beer over any other of the AB products any day of the week. This beer was refreshing on this particularly hot, humid Florida day.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cavie (3248) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - MAR 4, 2009
Tasted similar to Miller Chill. It had a bit of a sweet aftertaste but not as overbearing as the chill. Decent, but I wouldn’t order it on a regular basis.
