1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 oldrtybastrd (3229) - Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA - OCT 30, 2008
Aroma is lacking, traces of grass, malt, and maybe some hops. Flavor was almost as bland as the smell, a little sweetness, followed by a touch of hops. Not much here.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Aubrey (3193) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAR 30, 2008
Appearance is light golden with a thin, small-bubbled head. Texture is light and watery with a mild carbonation level. Malts were rather sweet (grains, cereal). Slight milkiness. Very mild bitterness; not quite enough to cleave off the sweetness. The beer’s character wasn’t enough to cleave off its boringness.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Aurelius (3147) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 22, 2007
Corny Saaz beer aroma. OK faux painted label, specimen colored beer. Fluffy hominy, ricey Saaz flavor. Really pretty smooth. The wife loved it. Crisp finish, only a little clingy. Lightly bittered, very slightly tangy.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Strykzone (3135) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2008
Picked up a 12 pack for tailgating before a Buffet Concert. Drank out of the clear bottle. Pretty much looked, smelled, and tasted like an AB Pale Lager. Maybe toss in a little wood. The "island attitude" is more in the marketing than the flavor. It would be a lot more fun rating the show than the beer.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 arminjewell (3116) - Parker, Colorado, USA - APR 13, 2010
From the bottle, had this after quite a few other drinks and it went down easy. That being said, it didn’t taste like much, maybe some corn and other adjuncts, mainly carbonated water. Fairly normal mass lager.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20 JCB (3114) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 26, 2011
Bottle at some crappy joint in Southport, NC. Great hang with my fam, but a depressing food and drink experience on every level. I thought to myself, perhaps I can at least get a tick out of it, and I have. But the only word from the commercial description I’d sign off on is "drinkable." Plus, docked a couple points just because Jimmy Buffett is a total dild.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 SSSteve (3031) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - NOV 3, 2007
crystal clear pale gold with medium sized white head. clean sweet grainy aroma. crisp, light palate. has a really corny, grain aftertaste. nothing wrong with it, but its not real exciting either.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 1FastSTi (3000) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2007
Bottle in Orlando, FL. Pale yellow body. Aroma is stale, skunky Corona. Grainy corn. Tastes slightly better than Corona? Simple grainy silage, simple hops. Palate is really thin and non-existent. I added cracked black pepper to it to make it taste better (and it does).
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 lithy (2994) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2009
A pale yellow with a fizzy white head, boring but present adjunct lager aroma. Sweet corn and cereal taste. Better than Corona, for whatever that is worth.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 cheap (2965) - Quiptown & Central Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2008
Yes, another Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. Pretty good disguise. Just like Green Valley Brewing Stone Mill Pale Ale, I was fooled by new labels. Mild soiled diaper aroma. Ropey non alcohol flavors and texture. Uniquely imbecilic name. Clear bottle and yellow ubiquitous american lager look. How about this; it says brewed by Margaritaville Brewing in Jacksonville! Processed feel and finish. Not bitter but metallic and cardboard at time. Sometimes I think I can feel unsweetened lemon rind in the background.
