0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Had a taste once, six months ago. On-tap served in a plastic cup at the local bowling alley and given to me by a friend. I honestly thought it was Bud Light until I was told otherwise. Premium lager? Give me a break.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This shark landed on the ground for sure. Lack luster golden colour with white head. Grassy grainy aroma with likewise flavour. Non-offensive.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
473 ml can from The Beer Store. Pours a clear dull golden colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is lightly grainy and grassy. Taste likewise. On the thin side. Not terrible, just blah.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Just bit above Molson Canadian and Labatts Blue, but not by much. Extremely thin tasting and very flat. No head or lacing to speak of at all. This beer is acceptable for certain occasions, but very few of them.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Buffalo Wild Wings. Pours light yellow with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a bit of grass note on the nose. Tastes like artificial lime on the tongue. Solid for style but gets dull quickly.

1.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
A free can at a sporting event, this had the immediate taste of an American macro brew. Malty, but skunky and thin.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is light straw and grass, very faint hops. Pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Taste is a light hops, slight grass, subtle sweetness with a clean finish. Easy drinking and refreshing, not a bad summer brew.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
473ml can from the beer store. Pours clear yellow gold with a small fast fading head. Very faint malt aroma. Taste of straw and grass. Too carbonated to be refreshing.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Funky rice beer aroma and flavor. Is crisp and I can see how it is refreshing when cold. Not as terrible as I expected. Light with lagerish funk but still refreshing in a way.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

It’s not bad, when you take it for what it is.
There is no point comparing this to a craft brew, which should go without saying, but apparently doesn’t according to the other reviews.
What we’re talking about is a cheap lager, so it should be judged accordingly.
I am an IPA and pale ale guy. So you’d think I would hate this, right? Well... no. I don’t have any strong feelings about it.
Every once in a while, I want something light, and this does the trick, though it’s not much. It ranks well above a Budweiser, but well below a Foster’s for me.
This is what I wish a Corona was. I hate Corona. It’s supposed to be light and refreshing, but tastes like actual piss.
It’s definitely not amazing, but it certainly doesn’t taste foul, and has a deceptive buzz for something that is less than 5%. Seriously. I looked up the ABV and couldn’t believe it, because it felt to me to be about 5.5.
At any rate, it’s not terrible. It’s a light lager. It’s nothing to speak of, and it’s definitely TERRIBLE compared to most craft brews, but when you take it for what it is, it’s firmly... average.
