Didn’t expect much, but drank it while out eating anyway. Poured a pale lager yellow with a soda-pop fizzy based head. Aroma was grains, corn the strongest. Flavor was corn and the mouthfeel was a little sticky and hot even (not an experience that is typical of many a pale lager, detectable alcohol). Some barley graininess comes out with some light hop bitterness. Rather drinkable, although not a great beer. As far as pale lagers go, I found this decent. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 24, 2007 This seemed to me to be a more crisp and sweeter version of Corona. It has a nice corn and malt taste and is very refreshing. Nothing special, but I wasn’t upset I had it. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2008 strait out the bottle, my wife thought I was drinking a Corona and had to do a double take. not bad in a bleh way, just not a very deep beer, it is light but smooth, refreshing. has a fuller palate than other big light lagers, and it lacks a lot of anything, just not much there. mbgrayson (152), Anaconda, Montana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 10, 2009 A fairly bland beer. But on the upside, it is very drinkable and is refreshing on a hot day. A clear yellow, with a white head. A soda pop type lager beer. But still, I like it.... BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 8, 2008 An island style lager? Margaritaville brewing, yet you cannot mention anything about Jimmy Buffet in the marketing? This is vaguely reminscent of Corona, lighter bodied and not as sweet. Nothing wrong with this one really and is pleasureable to drink on a hot day, because it is quite quaffable. Light citrusy finish. gonzo46and2 (108), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 13, 2008 This is a macro beer. Knowing that and expecting macro taste are the keys to enjoying this beer for what it is. Refreshing and more complex than Corona without the skunkiness. Not bad if the price is right. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottle: Super pale yellow, pellucid, very fizzy, too high of carbonation. Thin head and spotty lacing. Nose is a bit dusty with faint pilsner malt and some noble hops. Surprisingly unskunked for a clear bottle. Fresh maybe? The flavor is crisp and fresh, a bit lacking in body with a fizzy lemony mouthfeel and a grassy finish. Decent lager FishManLA (301), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2008 A generic pale lager. Ambiguously sweet on the nose. Sweet lime-like taste. It tastes like AB is attempting to emulate the taste of a Corona with the lime squeezed into it. To their credit, that is, in fact, what Landshark tastes like. Drinkable, but unremarkable.
