This was actually better than others have rated. Had it in Orlando, very crisp taste
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Codythegreat (149) - Carrollton, Georgia, USA - AUG 9, 2009
Not too bad but nothing special. Not as good as the other Margarittaville product, the lone palm ale. Pours a light yellow with a white head. Taste like any other pale lager.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BenRod (48) - Springfield, Missouri, USA - AUG 20, 2007
Appearance was yellow with white head that diminished to some lacing rather quickly. Aroma was rather slight, very like most other macro brews, with some corn and very little hops. The flavor was light, but with more flavor than some lighter lagers, but still not very strong. Has a slight sweetness to it reminiscent of MGD. Very clean finish.
This beer is exactrly what it was designed to be: a very easy to drink American Lager with a built-in fanbase in parrot head clubs and other Jimmy Buffett fans. Nothing spectacular about it, but it’s not bad as far as American Lagers go.

If you must have beer and this and a CORONA are in reach. Grab this one. But that’s as far as it goes.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. It has a slightly skunky aroma. It tastes a lot like corona with hints of citrus and apple. This isn’t a bad beer but isn’t great either.

had this for the first time and will remember it as an overall good brew for a lager. went down smooth and could have drank all night but that’s against my personal rules!

Nothing special, but not bad either. Basically no aroma to speak of, appearance of any standard pale lager with virtually no head or lacing, acceptable taste with a lime in it, crisp with little aftertaste, overall okay beer. If you like the Mexican lagers, you’ll like this.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 dekester1 (193) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 10, 2011
A tapper at Margaritaville in Nashville had a foamy head with decent lacing that faded quickly. The color was amber-yellow. The aroma was of malts and grains. The taste had quick malt front end but then slipped quickly to strong corn and light hops. Palate was slighly week beinig just a tad on the thin side. Overall, this was decent typical pale lager although it was bit heavy on the corn - perhaps a notch more than High Life - more similar to something like Grain Belt.
