2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 unclemattie (3354) - Georgia, USA - OCT 22, 2007
20oct07. 12oz clear bottle. Clear yellow, white fizzy head. Aroma of pale malt lager. Flavor is very refreshing, crisp, and clean. I was expecting Bud in a clear bottle or a Corona impersonation. This was surprisingly refreshing. At $5.90 a bottle @ Margaritaville, LV... better off buying a 6pk of it back home.
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MakeItDrinkIt (66) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 11, 2008
Clear light golden/straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is light, floral. Flavor is crisp, clean, light bodied - as an American light lager style should be. Although brewed by A-B, it seems to be a cut above their standard offering(s). Nice beer to have on the beach. Fins up!

Pours a hazy bright golden yellow color with some ripe banana hues. Surprisingly opaque for the style with a one finger frothy white head that has good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. No lacing.
Slightly bready yeast aroma with some subtle hops but not much else. Pretty bland smelling.
Fuller bodied than I expected for the style. Bready yeast notes with some slight crisp light fruit notes and a very subtle hop presence in the finish. Not very interesting but at the same time not offensive. Much better than I thought it would be and it goes down very smooth. Very drinkable decent version of a style that is generally putrid.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kidmartinek (1848) - austin, Texas, USA - DEC 10, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2008 This beer has terrific pale yellow color. It pours as mostly head into the glass since its highly carbonated, just like mass produced poor quality beers. It smells like honey, oats, and sugar. It has a sweet sugary cereal grain taste too. It is however inexplicably appealing on a hot summer day or when you’re on the Florida, and perhaps even the Texas coast.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 VitaminR (540) - Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2009
Graham crackers and grass on the nose. Super pale gold, medium head. Some honey biscuits, mild bitterness, actually was nicely balanced. Lively carbonation, light body, but decent mouth feel, finish was slightly fruity. Pretty decent easy drinking Pale Lager, malty biscuit quality made it stand out.

Yellow golden color and very bubbly. Holds a half-inch head for a while. This lager is very similar to Corona but perhaps a bit richer. Overall, it’s good, but pretty average.

Poured very pale from bottle. Hint of citrus and a little heavy on the carbonation. A pleasant beer that one can drink all day on the beach.

June 2010: My clear 12 oz bottle was only 3,2% ABV not the 4.7% one, mine was bought in Utah!
My wife and I had spent the day hiking in Bryce Canyon and we stopped at Ruby’s Inn to get some supplies, this fell into my basket (along with a few other brews).
This was the first beer of a mini session: sat outside our motel room in bright sunshine I cracked the beer.
Pale golden colour, straw blonde if you like. The white head left lacing on the plastic toothbrush cups I poured the beer into.
A weak grainy/wheaty smell tried to make an impression, but failed. The taste was typical lagerish and refreshing.
This isn’t a world beating lager by any standards, but it was an ideal thirst quencher.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 SODAK14 (215) - Rapid City, South Dakota, USA - OCT 4, 2011
I liked this one a lot better than I thought I would. Seems like a wide discrepancy better raters on it. It was refreshing to me on a 90 degree day in South Dakota. Maybe I imagined myself on a tropical beach which led to my ranking it higher than some... Honestly, not bad, not great. :)
