Elwood (665), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Nov 7, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. bottle.
Appearance: Pale gold color with a frothy, white head.
Aroma: Grainy with a bit of hops apparent in the nose. Some cereal notes.
Flavor: Grain, some corn notes, some malt sweetness, and a solid back bitterness.
Palate: Medium-high, prickly carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel, and a medium-short, bitter finish.
Overall: Somewhere between a Bud heavy and a Bud Light in body with a flavor profile similar to a Corona. Standard macro swill. fromred2green (141), , Ohio, USA Nov 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a bright yellow with a medium white head. Typical American macro lager aroma and taste. Quite refreshing, and quite carbonated. Better than most macro lagers, but that’s about it. hero12 (58), USA Oct 24, 2009 Nothing to it. Probably fairly refreshing on a hot day, but there really is no taste or smell. Pigskin (11), Alabama, USA Oct 20, 2009 Bottle. Buddy of mine loves this stuff. I don’t see why. Not the worst but I think I’ll drink something else. troopie (851), USA Oct 18, 2009 Interesting name. Bottle. I couldn’t find the beer. It seemed that some large animal, possibly a camel, had emptied out the beer and pissed in the bottle, then carefully replaced the cap. Shame. It has a cute bottle and might be an interesting beer if I could ever find one with beer in it. corby112 (671), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 17, 2009 Pours a hazy bright golden yellow color with some ripe banana hues. Surprisingly opaque for the style with a one finger frothy white head that has good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. No lacing.
Slightly bready yeast aroma with some subtle hops but not much else. Pretty bland smelling.
Fuller bodied than I expected for the style. Bready yeast notes with some slight crisp light fruit notes and a very subtle hop presence in the finish. Not very interesting but at the same time not offensive. Much better than I thought it would be and it goes down very smooth. Very drinkable decent version of a style that is generally putrid.
