Chalk one up for marketing - I did like the bottle. As for the beer, its unexceptional, a little skunky, and if Iím drinking an AB product Iíd rather have a Bud than paying 2x the price for this.

473 ml can from The Beer Store. Pours a clear dull golden colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is lightly grainy and grassy. Taste likewise. On the thin side. Not terrible, just blah.

Just bit above Molson Canadian and Labatts Blue, but not by much. Extremely thin tasting and very flat. No head or lacing to speak of at all. This beer is acceptable for certain occasions, but very few of them.

Draft at Buffalo Wild Wings. Pours light yellow with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a bit of grass note on the nose. Tastes like artificial lime on the tongue. Solid for style but gets dull quickly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A free can at a sporting event, this had the immediate taste of an American macro brew. Malty, but skunky and thin.

Aroma is light straw and grass, very faint hops. Pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Taste is a light hops, slight grass, subtle sweetness with a clean finish. Easy drinking and refreshing, not a bad summer brew.

473ml can from the beer store. Pours clear yellow gold with a small fast fading head. Very faint malt aroma. Taste of straw and grass. Too carbonated to be refreshing.

Funky rice beer aroma and flavor. Is crisp and I can see how it is refreshing when cold. Not as terrible as I expected. Light with lagerish funk but still refreshing in a way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Itís not bad, when you take it for what it is. There is no point comparing this to a craft brew, which should go without saying, but apparently doesnít according to the other reviews. What weíre talking about is a cheap lager, so it should be judged accordingly. I am an IPA and pale ale guy. So youíd think I would hate this, right? Well... no. I donít have any strong feelings about it. Every once in a while, I want something light, and this does the trick, though itís not much. It ranks well above a Budweiser, but well below a Fosterís for me. This is what I wish a Corona was. I hate Corona. Itís supposed to be light and refreshing, but tastes like actual piss. Itís definitely not amazing, but it certainly doesnít taste foul, and has a deceptive buzz for something that is less than 5%. Seriously. I looked up the ABV and couldnít believe it, because it felt to me to be about 5.5. At any rate, itís not terrible. Itís a light lager. Itís nothing to speak of, and itís definitely TERRIBLE compared to most craft brews, but when you take it for what it is, itís firmly... average.
