Cloudy golden colour . A nice banana clove aroma. Sweet malt and wheat with a nice finish.

It’s unclear dark golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of mild yeast and banana. The sweet flavor is well balanced with notes of yeast, banana and wheat, and the finish is slightly dry and spicy - lovely!

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel-zitrusgelbes Weizen mit guter Trübung und flacher, feiner Cremekrone. Der Geruchstest fällt hefig-nelkig aus, dezent süßer Einschlag. Der Antrunk zeigt sich nelkig-würzig, wieder mit leicht süßlichen Nuancen im Hintergrund, etwas Frucht kommt raus (Pfirsisch, Aprikose??). Der weitere Verlauf bleibt angenehm hefig und gut sahnig, das würzig-nelkige Aroma dominiert dieses Weizen. Zwar kommt ab und an ein süßer Ton raus, der kann sich aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt gut durchsetzen.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy yellow-tan color with moderate head and strong effervescence. Mildly bitter but strong clove, sweet banana/orange, and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very nice.

(bottle) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet (cara-)malty and moderately wheaty nose with notes of bubblegum and peaches. Sweetish flavour, medium to light bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and moderately fruity taste with a tinge of cara-malt; sweet and mildly fruity and malty finish with phenolic spices. 12.IX.09

Bottle: Deep golden, almost clear, clumps of yeast visible; fluffy off-white foamy layer; moderate sweetish aroma of bananas, light traces of wheat and yeast underneath; moderate to solid sweetish-sourish flavour, medium bodied, quite smooth; slightly lingering sweet fruity (bananas) finish with the usual tartness in the aftertaste. Not bad at all...........

Draught, Viktualienmarkt, Munich. Pours very cloudy yellow, with one-finger deep white head. Sweet citrus on the nose, and similar on the palate, with the usual weissbier yeasty overtones. Smooth beer.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes strong, very yeasty and woody. Dry finish, too less fruity. Not so good!

bottle. Cloudy amber yellow colour, large head. Fruity and yeasty with nice hints of caramel. Quite strong but very quaffable and thirst-quenching. Good.
