(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops and honey, slightly resinous, with a hint of hay and raisins. flavour is mostly the same, herbal hops and a light malt presence, slightly vegetal. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Test vom 29.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,6,5,10,7 - 6,80

Clear yellow with a decent white head. Grainy hoppy aroma and taste. A solid Pilsener.

edpeg (680) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2012
Pours pale yellow clear body with white medium rocky head. Aromas include hops, malts, grains, dough. Palate is slick medium full-bodied, with smooth soft carbonation and mouth-feel. Taste is malty and with crispy dry hoppy finish. Aftertaste is medium long bitter, hoppy, with some herbal nuances. Overall a decent Pils although with mild but rounded character.

International Green Week, Berlin 2012: our second day and Hall 21b took us to Sachsen and Nordrhein-Westfalen where I was drawn to a brewery bar selling this beer. 0.3 Litre poured into a lovely glass: light golden body, regular brightness and clarity expected from a good German Pilsner, snow white head on top. The head stayed and produced some good, thick lacing. Hints of hops and malts in the nose; not much, but more than normal for a Pilsner. The refreshing taste had just about the right feel of flavours: hop bitterness and a mild malt sweetness blended together nicely to give a thirst quenching beer. This was one of the best Pilsners I had during my two days at Green Week (I had plenty, believe me).

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Wirkt sehr gut ausgewogen. Könnte lediglich nen Tick süffiger sein…

Single bottle purchased from a Netto Market in Altenberg, Germany on 12/05/2011. Colour: Medium yellow with consistent white frosting. Nose: Vanilla cookies, metallic tin, corn, fertilizer. Taste: Light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Light malt, a spot of rosemary, and more vanilla. Generally light.

EithCubes (4233) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Bottle, MHD 01.03.12. Nose is sweet and malty, pours a clear dark yellow with a sudsy bright white head. Bittersweet with a little bread and a little more metal, low bitterness but the hop attack isn’t particularly enjoyable. Lightly acidic medium body and a bit of alcohol showing. Aftertaste is musty.

Draught. Light golden with a medium lasting head. Aroma of malt and grassy hop. Flavour is medium bitter hop with an oily texture. Palate is long lingering bitter

Koelschtrinker (8615) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
Kein wirklich gutes Pils. 8/7/7/6/8/6
