Commercial Description:
Formerly known as Rothenburger Landwehr-Bier Dunkles Landbier.

Bottle. Amber color, offwhite head. Malty aroma, nutty, milky and with notes of chocolate. Malty flavor, some spices, hops, chocolate, mint notes. Bitter coffee finish.

Bottle. Tanx to rlgk!! A beautiful brown boidy. Begie head. Aroma has alot. Chocolat, malt, burnt sugar, some coffe and earth tones. Flavor is not as good as the aroma. But still interesting. It´s malty and has chocolat, some coffee and burnt sugar. Palate is rounded.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very malty, roasty, a little bit scratchy. The finish is almost vapid, that’s why it’s only an average dunkel!

Bottle. Dark brown color, tan head. Aroma isn’t jumping out at me, toasty caramel malt aroma and flavor. Soft and clean for a dunkel. Possible slight oxidation.

Pretty average dunkel, nothing really stands out. Roasted malts, sweetish. Good carb. Very good, but nothing special. Very easy drinking.
