Bottle. Clear mahogany with a thin head. Aroma is sweet caramel. Flavour is fruit and spice, sweet malt and a hint of alco. Finish is dry sweet.

(Flasche) Es hat eine leicht bernsteinerne Farbe, fast wie Pfirsicheistee, ist klar filtriert mit einer fast weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma riecht nach frisch geschrotetem Röstmalz und Cara Münch (pure Malzmühle). Der Geschmack ist der Geschmack ist eher samtig und leicht und ein klein bisschen alkoholisch sonst schmeckt es wie das Aroma. Bittere ist kaum vorhanden.

330ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma, malt lozenge, ’Birnenkraut’. Taste is initially moderately sweet caramel malty, notes of almond, peach, later with decent dry to bitter overtones. Slightly too sweet.

(bottle) pours a clear copper-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. restrained aroma of milk chocolate, caramel and oats, with a very light hint of peat smoke, some floral hops and roasted grain. flavour is mostly the same, roasted grain and chocolate, with a light hint of dark fruit, caramel, very light characteristic butter, a light sweetness and a herbal-hoppy light-bitter finish. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation. quite good.

Ein kerniger Bock, der mir etwas zu süßlich daher kommt. Das Aussehen und die Landwehr-Bräu Buddel sind hingegen wieder schlicht elegant & gut.

clear medium-dark amber body with a small off-white head. sharp oxidized malt, felt marker, petrol and banana nose. sticky molasses and sherry malt flavor develops with time. sharp alcohol remains forever on the tongue.
banana liqueur comes to mind. a beer in bad shape, even though I suspect it was bottled in October 2012.

Pours an amber body with an off white head. Aroma is medium malt-faint caramel, medium fruit. Taste is medium malt-caramel, slight flat hops.

It smells malty. The taste is very malty, sweet sour, a bit bitter. In the aftertaste a bit alcoholic. Ok, but watery. 11/10/10/10/11/10

Bottled. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel mild burnt sugar as well as some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is quite similar with some toasted and also nice bitter notes. Pleasantly balanced.
