COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Rothenburger Landwehr-Bier Vollbier.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with an off-white head. Sweet malty nose. Medium body, malty with quite some sulphur and a metalic edge. Surprisingly hoppy finish for a Helles. 200210

Nice hoppy nose, which showed a lot of promise. But mouth was mainstream accented, dry and finish lacked much hop presence.

Bottle. Mildly sweet barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Light barley malt flavor - very minimal sweetness. Light grass hops finish. Nothing bad but not much flavor.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white, medium-sized head. Sweet malty, grainy aroma in combination with rather strong herbal, initially slightly metallic hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mf. Grainy and slightly herbal taste; dry and quite bitter finish for a Helles. Not bad, but the almost harsh bitterness does not fit in this case.

Slightly vegetabel nose, gold color, foamy head. Full grainy body with a dry gritty end that’s odd and chemical-like. Some aftertastes emerge after the swallow. Medium body and all around not very good, though not terrible.

Light golden beer, spare head, barn nose. Wet bricks, grain taste. Medium all in all. Sounds like beeing on a farm :-)

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 71. This bottled brew from the brewery in Germany poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized sized white colored mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a carbonated transparent orange colored body. The aroma contained notes of mild dirty socks. The mouth feel was smooth with a mild lingering tingly finish. The flavor contained notes of malts and hops favoring the malts.
