COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Rothenburger Landwehr-Bier Weihnachtsbier.

Bottle. It pours an amber colored body under a small, off-white head. The aroma has a touch of caramel, with some fruityness and sugary maltyness. A bit dull in the mouth, smooth and medium bodied. The flavor has caramel, fruityness and a little bitterness. Some bitterness and fruityness in the end. Overall, rather boring, especially considering it’s a beer for the dark months. 120217

50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Rated on 2.2.2010
Bright brown-orange colour, big and quickly disappearing head. Sweet aroma with malt and spices. Flavour has sweet malt and spices. Too sweet stuff for me, also the spices do not fit here very well.

50 cl bottle as ”Landwehr‐Bräu Winterfestbier” @ home, BBE 03.04.2012
Aroma has some grainy malt, metal and hints of vegetables. Flavour is metallic with some solvent, grainy malt and hints of alcohol. Not for me.
