bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Clear amber-golden colour with an immense red glow. Creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malts and strawberries. Lots of malt, roasted malt, caramel and again some strawberries. A delicious christmas beer.

Brown and clear.Unusual herb and spices taste.Fruitiness lingers. An unusual beer which I liked-I think.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a light-beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty and quite nutty aroma with notes of caramel, hints of molasses and light herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour with a balancing level of bitterness, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty, distinctively nutty taste with caramel and rounded hoppy accents; toasty bitter-sweet, slightly hoppy finish. Very good dark Festbier. 08.XII.09

Bottle: Chestnut-amber coloured, quite stable off-white head; solid roast-malty and nutty nose with a tinge of molasses; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; hops and molasses and dark malt in the finish. A well balanced, complex brew.......

Weihnachtsbier from Rothenberg. 0,5l bottle. Amber colored pour with medium sized head. Had a fruity, spicy aroma with a bitter malty finish. Not too bad.

Bottle from Auderale: Poured amber with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy but also has the veggie earthness to it. Dark smoked malts almost sweet tea leaf like.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Much foam, fine aroma. Starts malty, dry, strong. The finish is a bit vapid. But makes it very drinkable. Good beer!

Medium creamy white head. Clear amber-golden colour. Aroma quite mild, honey and caramel, malty. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter.

(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops, green apple, dark malts, caramel and light marzipan. flavour is mostly lightly roasted chewy malts and caramel, with a slightly metallic hint and a light minerally finish. medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Bright brown-orange colour, big and quickly disappearing head. Sweet aroma with malt and spices. Flavour has sweet malt and spices. Too sweet stuff for me, also the spices do not fit here very well.
