Bottle at the German beer festival at One Pint, Helsinki. Very hoppy, grassy aroma. Spicy taste, but with a medium finish. Looks like a standard pale lager.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are caramel and grain with a crisp fruitiness. Flavours are grain and crisp citrus with some sweet caramel. Spritzy on the palate. The alcohol in not too harsh. Decent.

Draft at GBBF 2006. An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and fruity. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol, and some caramel. The alcohol burns in the throat. Too simple for me - a Heller Bock can be so much better.

Bottled. Refreshing aroma of apricot and sweet citrus. Golden color, lots of bubbles, white head, good lace. Pretty bitter, apple, hint of citrus, malty, flat. Alcohol pretty much hidden. Not at all like a standard Heller Bock which is a good thing.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Quinns. A lovely smokey note in the aroma. Sadly its all downhill from there. Malty and wheaty all round. All rather unpleasantly sugary really.

500ml bottle from the foreign beer list at St Albans Beer Festival. Shared with CatweazleTroms and Finn. A good portion of white foam over a pale yellow body. Aroma contains sweet fruit and wheat. Ripe banana sweetness in flavour. Far too sugar sweet to my taste (27.09.2006).

Bottle at The St Albans Beer Festival 27 Sep 06. Golden/yellow coloured. A large white head. Lager-like aroma. Rounded with a very sweet flavour. Some bitter hints but overall a sweet impression.

Draught at GBBF 2006. Gold with thin white head. Slightly smokey aroma, bit of pukey malt. Fine in mouth, if a bit too carbonated. Alcohol is present. Bit too strong and crude to be pleasant.

GBBF - 2006. Alcohol. Sweet. Some late bitterness. Perfumed - barley wine. Strong lager. Drinkable, but crude corn alcohol and perfume off-putting.

Yellow coloured brew. Aroma is very bad, smells like dirty dishes. Not very impressive.
