The flavor is sweet malty with metallic notes of hops as well as caramel and lighter notes of bread. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and lightly burned caramel. Subdued bitterness. Sweet with seep malt character Notes of crystalized sugar, licorice and fruit as well as vague hints of smoke. Short grassy finish with a hint of blood. Not bad, though. bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 29, 2002 Malty aroma with milk chocolate. Barnyard smell. Sweetish, malty flavor with milk chocolate, chichorei and some hopbitterness. Skunky, but interesting beer.
