Quack-Duck (1978), Bodensee, Germany Oct 7, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with some aromatic hops. Rather hoppy for a Helles, similar to theri Siebensternchen-Pils. A good one.

Light bitterness showing through and mild sweetness. Ends clean and crisp with a light bitterness. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied, crispy carbonation. Pale malt-character, slightly chalky mouthfeel with grainy and herbal notes; dry and bitter-sweet finish with flowery and slightly grassy hops. Medium body with clean malt and a very soft finish with a touch of sulphur. 041008 MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Oct 4, 2008 Bottle, 4.5%. Clear yellow colour. OK malty flavour. Hint of citric fruit. Medium bitterness. Standard but decent.
