Klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, grasig, leicht malzig. Geschmack angenehm herb, grasig. Bitterer Abgang.

It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of straw, light vegetables, grain and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of grain, straw, light bread and flower, and the finish is pleasantly bitter and fairly dry.

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light grassy hoppyness. Moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - grainy and lightly sweetish, light grassy hoppyness. OK bitterness for German pils - could be bit drier (with more hoppyness) though.

500 ml bottle. DE. BB 9/12. From biershop-bayern.de.
Clear pale golden colour with average size frothy white head. Aroma is quite mild. Mild sweet tones but also dryness and even salt in aroma. Malt there is. Aroma is pleasant even though it’s quite mild for a Pilsener. Flavour is also quite mild but rather nice. Malt and notes of grassy hops. Somewhat weak hoppiness. Could be a bit stronger in flavour. Nothing wrong per se but a bit too mild for a Pilsener.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Test vom 17.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,5,7,8,6,5 - 6,10
