bottled, pours deep black/red, aroma of cherry cordials mixed with coffee, surprisingly full flavor that matches the aroma perfectly without being overwhelming, not to heavy mouth feel with hints of citrus on the tongue, pretty clean aftertaste, like much more then expected

Bottle, thanks Eric. Pours brown, with a red hue. Aroma is chocolate and cherries. Flavor is chocolate, roasted malt, and cherries. Body is rather light. A nice one.

Bottle. Pours a nice deep brown with ruby red highlights. Aroma immediately brings Dr. Pepper to mind, so not a great first impression. But let the head settle a little and chocolate becomes much more apparent. The palate is nicely balanced with sweet chocolate malt and black cherries in a decent balance, although this is certainly leaning toward being a tad too sweet. Overall I enjoyed this, but I do have a soft spot for this kind of "porter hybrid" type of beer.

Bottle... Poured near black with red highlights and a light brown head that also has some red in it. Aroma has strong cherry and grenadine. Really smooth like chocolate milk and grenadine and some toasted malt to remind you that you are drinking a beer. Slightly like a cough drop but pretty ok.

From a 12-ounce bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a deep brown-amber body with a one-finger fluffy white head that quickly dissipates. Bold, sweet cherry nectar nose with some roasty notes. Thin, sweet mouthfeel. Some chocolate and lots of sugary cherries. Not the most exciting beer, but for those who like cherries, this is a cherry bomb!

Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Dark reddish amber, very dark, with a pink tinged light head. Aromas of dark roasted malt, chocolate and dark fruit. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is cherry over coffee and chocolate. Goes down well. Reminds of chocolate covered cherries sans sugar creme. Finish is dry roast with cherry and a little coffee. Surprisingly good. Might make an aperitif. Woke me up.

Dark in color with small off brown head. Nose of toasted nut and cherry. Flavor is mild cherry with some smoke and chocolate. Finish is thick and woody.
