BückDich (4605), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear coppery gold color with a decent little head and some lacing. The nose is slightly husky with a toasty malt and grassy hop note. The flavor is a bit more husky and bitter with some faint apricot and cascade notes in the tail. Floral husky finish. Bitter end. Decent and something to chew on for a blond ale is novel.
checkmatei1 (303), Willow Grove, USA Oct 23, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden orange color with a decent amount of head. The aroma was malty and somewhat hoppy. The flavor was a tad hoppy, citrus, fresh cut grass, and a minimal amount of malts. Overall, a decent brew. bhensonb (3138), Woodland, California, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Dark gold color with an almost absent white head. Aromas of light malt and hop. Near medium body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor has enough citrus to suggest sour. Malt is well balanced by citrus and floral hop. Crisp. riversideAK (1757), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 1, 2008 Bottle from kyzr. Thanks man! Pours a nice golden color with some chill haze and a pretty decent head. The aroma on this one is pleasant with notes of lemon, grass, and floral hops with light malts. Nice crisp flavors of mild malt with some lemon, citrus, and floral hops. Pretty crisp and light, but a nice thirst quencher. I enjoyed this for what it was.
