Brown ale like caramel malts - caramel, sour chocolate, slight cherry. Brownish crimson pour with little head. Lots of toffee and sour apple malts in flavor. Fairly light in body. Slight noble hops in the finish. Nice quaffer.

Dark cherry brown with medium head. Light caramel and bready malts in the aroma and taste. You can taste a bit of citrus hops, but not bitter at all. Very well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

12er. Very nice Northwest winter warmer style brew, some light roast but very light and balanced, good mix of fresh fruity hop flavors and slightly nutty/"brown" malt character. Nice hidden gem...

Bottle: Mahogany color, ruby edges, light head and lacing. Nose of bright malt, caramel and light diacetyl, some special b and earthy hops; light alcohol. The flavor is chewy, nice resinous pine hop notes along with the caramel and melanoidin overload. Excellent balance for a winter beer. Tasty malts, full hops, yum.

Bottle... Poured a dark amber with a thin off-white head that faded quickle. Sour, roasted malt aroma. Chocolate, toffee and malt notes a followed by a mild hop bitterness in the finish.

Dark amber pour with off brown head than hangs a little. Roasted malty nose with a hint of citrus. Flavor is of carmalized sugar with a medium body that makes way for a hoppy finish.
