Jun 7, 2005 12 oz bottle courtesy of Oakes. Golden coloured with a thin white head. Malty with earthy and toffeeish notes, caramel and faint fruit. Flavour is fairly simple, sweet caramel, light earthiness and dustiness. Simple brew, but quite drinkable.

Apr 10, 2005 Copper colour. Fruity (peach, cherry) aroma with light hints of diacetyl. Lightly toasty, fruity, lightly caramelly body. Sweetish finish. The yeast tends to be the most dominant characteristic of the beer. It was, a long time ago, the Fuller’s yeast but has mutated and refined over the years to produce a distinctively fruity, subtley complex ale.
